Chet Kumar

Chet Kumar serves as the Chief Commercial Officer at Segmed, Inc. since December 2024, while also advising Santorin Sciences since 2020, providing consulting and advisory services in life sciences, health technology, and digital health. Previously, Chet held the position of Vice President, Life Sciences at Verantos from 2020 to 2024, where responsibilities included leading sales of AI/ML enabled healthcare data products. At Verana Health, from 2015 to 2020, Chet was instrumental in the commercialization of a real-world data registry for the life science sector and managed a sales and customer success team. Prior roles included Vice President of Sales and Support at DigiSight Technologies, where Chet guided the marketing of a telehealth SaaS product, and various leadership positions at VisionCare Ophthalmic Technologies focused on the commercialization of a Class III PMA implantable medical device. Chet's early career included a marketing manager role at Oculex Pharmaceuticals, later acquired by Allergan/AbbVie, and EH&S operations with Incyte Pharmaceuticals. Chet holds a Clinical Doctorate (D.P.T.) from the University of Southern California.
