Mariona Solé has a wealth of experience in business development and marketing communications. Mariona began their career in 2005 as the Head of Production Department at Neptuno Films, where they were responsible for the planning, recruiting, budgeting and production of several cartoon TV series, including independent domestic projects and co-productions with other countries. In 2007, they became an Executive Producer for TV commercials and professional photography projects at La cosa de las películas S.A., managing estimates and final balances of projects with budgets between +200k -700k euros. In 2011, they took on the role of Administrative Assistant and ESL Teacher at Greenwich English College, where they managed the Academic Manager’s diary, organised trips, filled and filed lesson plans and registers, and updated the database. In 2014, they became an English Teacher and Office Assistant at Eurocentres Language School Foundation, counselling different courses to over 100 students and designing and planning 15-20 appropriate personalised plans of study per week. In 2015, they became a Relationship Executive - Education at Chartered Insurance Institute, managing and pitching 200+ presentations, conferences and interactive events in the UK, and managing creative and media agencies to supervise social media and PPC campaigns as well as SEO to grow brand awareness and increase lead generation. In 2017, they took on the role of Business Development and Marketing Communications, Senior Associate / Associate Director at ICMA - International Capital Market Association, where they were responsible for building and maintaining strategic and operational sales relationship activities, fostering positive business relations and networking opportunities, creating and developing a strong pipeline of business, and project management of EUR 20K – 100K. Mariona is currently a Senior Business Development at SegmentStream, where they started in 2022.
Mariona Solé has completed a Bachelor's degree in Media and Communication from Universitat Ramon Llull from 2001 to 2005. In 2016, they obtained a Certificate in Insurance from the Chartered Insurance Institute. In 2018, they completed an Introduction to B2B Marketing from CIM | The Chartered Institute of Marketing and an Introduction to Primary Markets Qualification from ICMA. In 2019, they completed an Introduction to Sustainable Finance from the U.N. Climate Change Learning Partnership. In 2020, they completed an Introduction to Green, Social, Sustainability (GSS) Bonds from ICMA. In 2021, they began an MBA, Business Strategy, Marketing, Innovation & Digital Transformation from ThePower Business School and is expected to complete it in 2022. Additionally, they have obtained a certification from ThePower Business School in October 2022.
