Ed Matis

Ed Matis is the current Senior Vice President of Engineering and Data Analytics at Segmint. Prior to this, they were the Software Development Manager at Mistras Group, Inc. from January 2013 to September 2015. From July 2004 to January 2013, Ed was the Director of Application Development at Equity Trust Company where they were responsible for transforming the culture of the IT organization to a service oriented and execution minded organization. Ed has also been key leader in the multi-year, multi-million dollar transformation of core applications to an advanced and automated workflow system (FILENET), a custom .NET Trust Accounting System, a Java based client portal and a cloud based sales automation tool (SalesForce). Ed has also led the development and implementation of an industry first online client portal application providing clients a 24 hour interface with their custodian, creating a significant competitive advantage in the industry. In addition, Ed led and managed the acquisition of an industry competitor from the FDIC. Ed spent three months on-site managing day to day operations, migration of data, and retirement of physical assets. Successfully retained 97% of client base during transition and migrated all operations on-time and under budget.

Ed Matis has a MBA in finance and MIS from Weatherhead School of Management at Case Western Reserve University. Ed also has a BSBA in MIS from Bowling Green State University.
