Asociación Segovia Sur is a non-profit Local Action Group that works to energise the territory and create employment and entrepreneurship opportunities across 51 municipalities on the northern slopes of the Sierra de Guadarrama.

Our work focuses on managing LEADER programmes—an EU initiative that supports projects aimed at boosting the economy and improving quality of life in rural areas—as well as other rural development funding schemes. We also support entrepreneurs and businesses throughout their creation and consolidation processes and promote employment through career guidance services, job listings and personalised pathways, contributing to a sustainable rural development model.

We deliver training initiatives designed to enhance employability and professional skills among the rural population.

The Segovia Sur Coworking Network strengthens this ecosystem of support for talent, entrepreneurship and collaboration, with active centres in Arcones, Tizneros, Navafría, Valsaín and El Espinar.

We work in partnership with public administrations, the business community and social stakeholders to help retain population and strengthen the socio-economic development of the rural territory.
