Tom Kenner

Tom Kenner is an accomplished network architecture manager with extensive experience in telecommunications. Currently serving as the Manager of Network Architecture at Segra since 2020, Tom oversees the development and planning of Layer 1 and Layer 2 networks while optimizing fiber assets for growth. Prior to Segra, Tom was a Senior Network Transport Engineer at Windstream Communications, where responsibilities included managing SONET and DWDM networks in the Northeast. Tom's career also includes entrepreneurship as the Owner Operator of a custom automotive accessories business and senior roles at Level 3 Communications, where management of a metro fiber optic network and complex circuit installations were key responsibilities. Additionally, Tom served in the USAF, focusing on ground radio communications and electronic installations. Tom holds an Associate of Science in Information Technology with an emphasis on Cisco Networking from the University of Phoenix.
