Patrick Wall has worked in a variety of roles over the past 37 years. In 1984, they began their career as a General Manager with Cadbury plc., where they held nine positions in eight years, including Industrial Engineer, Factory Manager, Business Analyst, Strategy Leader, Founder and head of Trade Marketing, National Accounts, and Marketing Manager. Patrick also gained accountancy qualifications and took a year out to work with DTI/Business in the Community. In 1992, they joined McKinsey & Company as an Engagement Manager, managing strategy teams in retail and consumer goods across Europe and with an extended engagement in mainland China. In 1995, they moved to ICS/Hays DX as MD of Operations and Commercial Director, where they were asked by 3i to manage post leveraged buy-out, returning the parcel carrier network to focus and profitability before selling the business to Hays plc in 1996. In 1996, they became an Entrepreneur, co-founding, developing, and advising various start-ups and early internet companies. In 2018, they joined Auctane as an Advisor Europe. In 2019, they founded edpol.net and became Chief Executive Officer of Segura Systems, where they provide supply chain visibility to ensure operational efficiency, ethical sourcing and sustainability. In 2020, they became a Board Trustee of The Foundation for Education Development, and in 2021 they became Chair of The Charitable Foundation for Education Development.
Patrick Wall attended St Joseph's Comprehensive Swindon from 1973 to 1979 and then the University of Oxford from 1980 to 1983, where they earned a PPE degree from Pembroke College.
