Steve Winters

Steve Winters, PE, is a seasoned civil engineer with extensive experience in planning, land development, and highway design. Currently serving as Principal, Vice President, and West Region Leader at SEH since August 2019, Steve leads the West Region Practice Center for Planning and Land Development. Prior roles include Project Manager and Project Engineer at Russell Planning and Engineering from July 2008 to July 2019, with responsibilities encompassing local road design, grading, drainage, and agency coordination. Earlier experience includes a design engineer position at Russell Engineering (2003-2008) and an engineering internship with the City of Urbandale (2000-2001). Steve holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Civil Engineering from Iowa State University.
