Mark Tierney

Mark Tierney is a seasoned technology leader with extensive experience in the financial services sector and military operations. Serving as Managing Director of Technology Solutions at SEI since June 1999, Mark oversees the strategic direction and management of various technology departments, including private cloud and Kubernetes systems, corporate IT, and service support teams while leading a global team of IT Directors and over 200 personnel. Previously, in the role of Director at SEI, Mark managed a production environment for over 150 critical applications that handle billions in asset management. Mark's career began in the US Navy, where as a Nuclear Surface Warfare Officer, Mark demonstrated strong leadership by managing nuclear reactors and leading a team of over 60 operators. Mark holds a Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Notre Dame.
