Michael Poon

Michael Poon is a Private Equity Fund Accounting Senior Analyst at SEI, a position held since October 2022, and previously served as a Private Equity Fund Accounting Analyst. Prior to SEI, Michael was a Student Coordinator at Marino Institute of Education, responsible for organizing student accommodation bookings and assisting with check-in and check-out processes. Michael also gained experience as an Accounting Trainee at Amergin Group, utilizing various accounting systems such as Xero and Quickbooks, while maintaining high compliance standards. Earlier experience includes working as a Sales Assistant at River Island. Michael holds a degree in Accounting and Business with a focus on Accounting and Finance from Maynooth University and is currently pursuing ACCA qualifications, which began in December 2021.
