John Bain

John Bain is an accomplished executive in the geophysical services sector, currently serving as President and CEO of Bain Geophysical Services, Inc. since September 2004, where geophysical interpretation services are provided to the global exploration community. Bain has held significant roles in various companies, including Director at Seismos and previously Vice President of the Interpretation Services Group at Fugro, overseeing global operations for major oil and gas clients. As the President and Founder of Galileo Geophysics from 1997 to 2001, Bain pioneered innovative geophysical solutions and business strategies. Early career experience includes leadership positions at LCT, Inc., where Bain co-led a management buy-out, and EDCON-PRJ, INC., establishing a data acquisition center. Bain holds an MBA from Rice Business and a B.Sc in Geophysical Engineering from the Colorado School of Mines.
