Lisa E. Cody is a seasoned Research and Policy Analyst at SEIU Local 721, where Lisa has successfully investigated and lobbied for the termination of the County of Los Angeles' illegal use of state clean air funds, resulting in the creation of a $1 million fund incentivizing rideshare participation. Previously, as an Investigator for the Committee on Oversight and Government Reform, Lisa conducted extensive research and authored significant Congressional reports addressing oil futures speculation and violations of the Servicemembers Civil Relief Act. In earlier roles, Lisa served as an Assistant Clerk for the House Committee on Energy and Commerce, conducting vital investigations into compliance failures and corruption within the FDA. Lisa holds an A.B.D. in Animal Behavior from the University of California, Davis, and additional degrees in the same field from the same institution, as well as a Bachelor's in Biology from the University of California, Santa Cruz.
