Christopher Hamilton is an experienced labor organizer and academic with a diverse background in sociology, anthropology, and education. Currently serving as a Labor Organizer and Representative at SEIU Local 1 since June 2019, Christopher previously held positions as an Adjunct Professor at both Saint Louis University and Washington University in St. Louis, where contributions were made to sociology and American culture studies. Additional roles include being a Lead Organizer for the International Union, UAW, and a Community Organizer with Men Stopping Violence. Christopher's academic qualifications include a Doctor of Philosophy in Education from Washington University in St. Louis, a Master of Education from the University of Massachusetts Amherst, and a Bachelor of Arts in Philosophy from Colorado State University.
