Sheena Patton

Sheena Patton has an extensive work experience spanning several positions and industries. Sheena started their career as a Lead Employment Specialist at TCF Bank in 1998 and later worked as an Executive Team Leader - Human Resources at Target from 2003 to 2006. In 2007, they joined Obama for America as a Regional Field Organizer. Sheena then moved on to Organizing For America, where they served as a Regional Field Director and later as a State Field Director. In 2011, they became the Director of Human Resources at Obama for America, a role they held until 2013. Sheena also served as the Past President of the Democratic Women of the South Suburbs during the same period. From 2014 to 2015, they worked as a Staffing & Benefits Manager at SEIU HCII. Sheena continued their career in the field of human resources and was the Director of Engagement & Community Affairs at Treasurer Office from 2017 to 2018. Sheena then became the Director of Human Resources at Toni For Chicago from 2018 to 2019. Sheena currently holds the position of Director of Human Resources at SEIU Local 1, which they started in 2019.

Sheena Patton attended Bloom High School but did not receive any degree or pursue a field of study during their time there. Sheena then went on to attend DePaul University, where they earned a Bachelor of Science in Commerce with a focus on Human Resource Management.
