Quentin Bourgue

Cyber Threat Analyst at SEKOIA

Quentin Bourgue has been working in the field of cyber security since 2017. In 2017, they completed an internship at IMT Atlantique, where they studied Industrial Control Systems. In 2018, they worked at Thales, where they were in charge of designing and evaluating attacks on IoT networks, and developing technical skills such as IoT protocol stack, security attacks in IoT, C and Python programming, and Linux environment. In 2019, they worked at Sentryo as a Cyber Security Intern, where they studied Intrusion Detection Systems, created a signature database to detect threats in industrial networks, and wrote IDS rules matching known malicious behaviours. Currently, they are working at SEKOIA as a Cyber Security Engineer and Intern, where they are responsible for monitoring security alerts, studying AWS services to collect security logs, improving data processing, and interacting with customers.

Quentin Bourgue attended Lycée Martinière Monplaisir, Lyon 8e from 2014 to 2016, where they obtained a Classe préparatoire MPSI/PSI* in Mathematics and Physics. Quentin then attended IMT Atlantique (formerly Télécom Bretagne) from 2016 to 2020. In 2018, they attended Indian Institute of Technology, Delhi for Computer Science. In April 2020, they obtained an Autopsy 8-Hour Online Training from Basis Technology.
