Stephan Bergmann has a diverse work experience in media production. Stephan started their career in 1999 as a Musikredakteur at Radio Helsinki. In 2003, they became a Selbstständig and worked as a Filmmaker, Director, and Author. From 2004 to 2023, they worked as a Freier Film-/Video-Cutter at ARD, ARTE, and ZDF. Since 2022, they have been working as a Schnittmeister and Media Producer at ARD.
Stephan Bergmann began their education in 2001 at the Universität für Weiterbildung Krems, where they studied journalism. Stephan then transferred to the Technische Universität Graz in 2002, where they pursued a degree in architecture until 2004. Finally, from 2004 to 2010, Bergmann attended Kunsthochschule für Medien Köln, where they obtained a Diplom in Film-/Video- und fotografische Künste.
