Michael Warkentin

Michael Warkentin has worked in the fields of ruminant nutrition and genetic improvement since 2008. Currently a Zootecnista at Select Sires Inc. since 2022, they previously served as a Senior Zootecnista at Frisia Cooperativa Agroindustrial from 2008 to 2022. Michael holds a Bachelor's degree in Animal/Livestock Husbandry and Production from Universidade Estadual de Ponta Grossa and has completed two specializations: one in Dairy Farming from Faculdades Associadas de Uberaba and another in Strategic Management and Agribusiness from Fundação Getulio Vargas. Recently, they have also focused on Lean management systems, study groups, and training to enhance management tools in dairy operations.
