Muhammad Ejaz, Ph.D., is a seasoned polymer chemist currently serving as a Senior Polymer Chemist at Select Water Solutions since August 2023, focusing on the design and development of water-soluble polymer friction reducers for oilfield operations. Prior to this role, Muhammad Ejaz worked at CMC Materials where significant contributions included the development of novel poly(alkyl methacrylates)-based drag reducing agents and polyalphaolefins through advanced polymerization techniques. Additional experience encompasses a tenure as a Senior Research Scientist at the Polymer Processing Institute and as a Senior Polymer Scientist at Blueshift Materials, where innovative transparent polymer aerogels were designed and synthesized. An academic foundation includes multiple postdoctoral fellowships and a stint as an Assistant Professor at Ghulam Ishaq Khan Institute, complemented by a Ph.D. and Master's degree in Polymer Chemistry from Kyoto University.
