Tom McCarthy

Tom McCarthy is a retired Executive Vice President and Chief Financial Officer of Cigna Corporation, where they served from July 2013 until June 2017 after over 30 years with the company. With a career spanning more than 35 years in healthcare, insurance, and financial services, Tom played a critical role in guiding Cigna through significant financial challenges and strategic transformations. They hold a Bachelor of Science in Finance from the University of Pennsylvania and an MBA from Carnegie Mellon University. Currently, Tom serves on the Boards of Directors for Selective Insurance Group, Privia Health, and Avenue of the Arts, Inc., as well as the Board of Trustees at the American University of Rome.
