Charles Plummer is an experienced Information Technology Specialist with a strong background in network operations and cybersecurity. Currently serving at the Selective Service System since November 2013, Charles leads daily operations of computer networks, manages cybersecurity systems, and ensures compliance with security policies. Prior experience includes roles as Network Controller at Houston Associates, Inc., where Charles managed security programs and training initiatives, and as Senior Program Manager in the United States Army, providing operational support for military communications. The Selective Service System is charged with providing the Department of Defense trained and untrained personnel in the event of a national emergency. Almost all male citizens and immigrants between the agees of 18-25 must register with the Selective Service. The Selective Service also provides alternative service options for concientious objectors.
