Diego Molina is a seasoned software engineer with extensive experience in open source and community initiatives, currently serving as the Staff Software Engineer - Open Source & Community at Sauce Labs since February 2019. Diego leads the Open Source Program Office (OSPO) and acts as the technical lead for the Selenium project, overseeing its development and collaborating with the community. With previous roles at Selenium, Element34 Solutions GmbH, Zalando SE, Spreadshirt, and Casa Editorial El Tiempo, Diego has consistently contributed to the advancement of testing infrastructure, mobile testing automation, and integration testing. Diego holds a Master's degree in Computer Science from Umeå University and a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science from Pontificia Universidad Javeriana.

Selenium automates browsers. That's it! What you do with that power is entirely up to you. Primarily, it is for automating web applications for testing purposes, but is certainly not limited to just that. Boring web-based administration tasks can (and should!) also be automated as well.
