Tomer Steinfeld

Tomer Steinfeld is a seasoned software engineering professional currently serving as the VP of Engineering at PayZen since October 2021, where the focus is on enabling the organization to assist every patient effectively. Previously, Tomer led the technology shift at PayZen as a Software Engineering Team Lead, promoting a transition from coding to product development and initiating a move from monolithic architectures to microservices. Tomer has contributed to the Selenium project since September 2017, where modernized the Selenium IDE as a WebExtension, leveraging current web technologies such as React and MobX. In a prior role as a Senior Software Engineer at Applitools, Tomer was instrumental in developing the Visual Grid, utilizing Kubernetes and Node.js for microservices architecture. Experience also includes serving as a Senior Web Developer for the Israel Defense Forces, where the emphasis was on enhancing software development through Open Source tools, and self-employment as an iOS App Developer, exploring app development since 2010. Tomer holds education credentials from Blich, completed between 2009 and 2013.
