Lisa Z.

Lisa Z. has extensive experience in communication services, particularly within the Deaf and hard-of-hearing community. Starting as a Job Placement Specialist at Nightingale Rehabilitation Services from August 1993 to February 1995, Lisa focused on networking and training for individuals with disabilities. Since November 2021, Lisa has been working as a VR and On Demand ASL Interpreter at Convo Communications. Previous roles include co-founding the Deaf Heart Foundation and serving as Site Supervisor at Communication Service for the Deaf, where responsibilities included supervising video relay operators and facilitating communication. At CAAG, Lisa worked as a Video Relay Interpreter, and at the Texas Department of Criminal Justice, Lisa provided cultural mediation for inmates. Additionally, Lisa has been a self-employed ASL Interpreter since January 1988.
