At Self Leadership Collaborative (SLC), we empower educators, leaders, and organizations to thrive by practicing self-leadership — because when adults lead themselves well, the next generation and our world can flourish.

Everywhere we look—whether in schools, companies, nonprofits, or communities—we see talented people under pressure: teachers, leaders, and teams asked to do more with less, often at the cost of their own well-being. Just as students can’t thrive without supported adults around them, organizations can’t thrive unless their people are equipped to lead with clarity, resilience, and compassion.

SLC was born in education, where we asked how to move beyond quick fixes toward everyday well-being for both students and adults. From this foundation, we developed PAUSE for Self-Leadership™, a five-step model inspired by Internal Family Systems (IFS) that shifts people from stress and reactivity to calm, connection, and clarity. First piloted in schools, PAUSE now serves leaders and teams in businesses, nonprofits, healthcare, community groups, and even refugee communities worldwide.
