About Self Pivot

Self Pivot is a mental health platform built to make emotional wellbeing feel more approachable, relevant, and human.

Our work has evolved over time into three interconnected wings-individual therapy, community-based spaces, and organizational partnerships. While the formats differ, the intention remains the same: to support reflection, growth, and change without reducing people to diagnoses or quick fixes.

We believe that the best way to reach mental health is not by forcing change but making it conversational. We also believe that isolated effort doesn't make a difference, certain things are systemic and that needs to be considered. 

What we do:

🔹 Individual Therapy
We work with individuals to build self-awareness, self-compassion, and a more grounded relationship with their thoughts, emotions, and experiences. Our approach prioritizes presence and lived experience over rigid frameworks.

🔹 Community & Group Spaces
We design and host facilitated spaces-workshops, meet-ups, and shared experiences, that use conversation, reflection, and movement to help people connect with themselves and with others in ways that feel natural and non-performative. This also creates safety to go into deeper work through therapy, making it a natural second step.

🔹 Organizational & Institutional Partnerships
We collaborate with organizations, colleges, and collectives to design mental health workshops and programs that are thoughtful, practical, and responsive to real-world contexts rather than one-size-fits-all solutions.

Across all our work, Self Pivot aims to bridge depth with accessibility, so mental health support feels usable in everyday life, not distant or clinical.

We are open to working with individuals, communities, and organizations who want to engage with mental health in a way that is intentional, respectful, and sustainable.
