Chris Young

Chris Young is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in fraud prevention and investigations, currently serving as the Senior Fraud and Investigations Manager at Selfridges since June 2017. In this role, Chris oversees teams focused on in-store and online fraud, chargebacks, cash loss, investigations, and regulatory compliance. Prior to this, Chris worked as a Financial Crime Manager, responsible for investigating financial crimes affecting the business. Chris's career at the Metropolitan Police, spanning from October 1998 to June 2017, included roles as a Cyber Protect Officer, where expertise was provided in cyber crime prevention, and as a member of the Detective Fraud Squad investigating complex fraud cases. Chris began with the Metropolitan Police as a uniformed Police Constable and held various investigative positions. Chris holds a BA Hons degree in Management from the University of Brighton.
