Lead Pipework Integrity Engineer

Andrew Scott is an experienced engineering professional with a strong background in mechanical and architectural engineering. Currently serving as the Lead Pipework Integrity Engineer at Sellafield Ltd since April 2013, Andrew leads a team to ensure the safety and compliance of site utilities distribution pipework. Previous roles at Sellafield include Nuclear Vent Reliability Engineer, CHP System Engineer, and Steam System Engineer, focusing on long-term engineering strategies and technical ownership of plant systems. Prior to Sellafield, Andrew worked as an Applications Engineer at James Walker, providing technical support and contributing to product development. Andrew holds a BEng Hons in Mechanical Maintenance Engineering from the University of Lancashire, an HND in Mechanical Engineering from Lakes College West Cumbria, and a degree in Architectural Engineering & Design Management from Loughborough University.
