James Clayton currently serves as an Environmental Advisor at Sellafield Ltd since September 2021 and has previously held the title of Graduate Environmental Advisor. In a recent secondment, James worked as an Assistant Nuclear Regulator with the Environment Agency from April to September 2023. James has a strong analytical background, having co-led a charter mark assessment team as a Data Analyst and Quality Assurance professional at Edge Hill University, and previously investigated coastal impacts during a placement at the National Oceanography Centre. Educational qualifications include a Master of Science in Environmental Monitoring, Modelling and Reconstruction from The University of Manchester, and another Master of Science in Applied Marine Geoscience along with a Bachelor of Science in Marine Biology and Oceanography from Bangor University.
