Kate Stinton is an accomplished communications and stakeholder relations professional with extensive experience in the nuclear and public sectors. Currently serving as the Communications and Stakeholder Relations Director at Sellafield Ltd since May 2022, Kate holds a key position on the Executive team, overseeing corporate affairs and stakeholder engagement. Prior to this, Kate played significant roles at EDF Energy, leading communications for major nuclear development projects such as Bradwell B, Hinkley Point C, and Sizewell C. Kate's career also includes experience as a Councillor for the Royal Borough of Kingston upon Thames, as well as positions with INDIGO PUBLIC AFFAIRS LTD and the Royal Borough of Kingston upon Thames Council. Educational qualifications include an MSc in Politics, Policy and Government from Birkbeck, University of London, and a BA (Hons) in American and English History from the University of East Anglia.
