Robin Ibbotson

Robin Ibbotson serves as the Chief Technology Officer at Sellafield Ltd since January 2022, bringing extensive experience from BAE Systems where roles included Director of Technology and Industrial Strategy, Director for International Markets, and various other directorate positions focused on industrial cooperation across Americas and Asia. Prior to BAE Systems, Robin Ibbotson worked at Aston University as a Research Associate, specializing in optical communication research. Educational qualifications comprise a PhD in Photonics and a 2.1 BEng Hons in Electrical and Electronic Engineering, both from Aston University.
