Susan Mackenzie

Susan Mackenzie is a Corporate Safety Leader at Sellafield Ltd, where they ensure the safety, security, and quality of operations and projects. With over 32 years of experience in health and safety risk management, Susan previously served as Deputy Director at the Health and Safety Executive from 1991 to 2019 and held the position of Director of Hazardous Installations for HSE gov from 2014 to 2016. Currently, Susan also fulfills the role of Head of Safety, Security and Environment at Urenco Nuclear Stewardship. They hold a Post Graduate Diploma in Health and Safety Management from Aston University and a BSc Hons in Analytical Chemistry from the University of Strathclyde.
