Tom Calverley

Tom Calverley is an accomplished professional with extensive experience in both executive leadership and specialized physics. Currently serving as the Chief Information Officer at Sellafield Ltd since September 2021, Tom offers innovative perspectives to executive discussions and plays a key role in modernizing digital operations. Previously, as a Radiometric Physicist at Sellafield Ltd, Tom provided critical radiometric characterization services and contributed to environmental safety efforts. Prior experience at the University of Liverpool included a role as a PGRA in Experimental Nuclear Structure Physics, where focus was on advanced spectroscopy techniques for heavy and superheavy elements. Tom holds a Master of Physics degree from the University of Liverpool and has also studied at the University of Jyväskylä.
