Tom Houghton

Tom Houghton is a Graduate Process Engineer at Sellafield Ltd, having previously held the position of Chemical Engineering Industrial Placement Student at the same company. Tom's background includes experience as a Research Assistant at The University of Sheffield, where contributions were made to the development of a sensor for measuring sulphuric acid concentrations, alongside creating CAD drawings and manufacturing sensors. Additional experience includes roles as a Warehouse Associate at Amazon Logistics and Kitchen Assistant at The Hinds Head, as well as work placements in engineering and architecture, which provided insights into project roles and experience with various engineering software. Tom Houghton is currently pursuing a Master of Engineering in Chemical Engineering at The University of Sheffield, which is expected to be completed in 2024.
