Mario D. has a diverse work experience spanning various industries and roles. Mario most recently served as the CEO of Selux Lighting and as the head of the business area collection at Fagerhult Group. Prior to that, they held leadership positions such as CEO of WE-EF LEUCHTEN GmbH and CEO of Ansorg GmbH. Mario also has experience as the head of segment retail at Vitra/Vitrashop and as the vice president of group marketing & sales and M&A at Dorma. Mario D. has also worked as a project manager at goetzpartners Management Consultants and as a consultant at Mercer Management Consulting.

Mario D. completed their M. Sc. / Dipl. Kfm. degree in Business Management from the University of Münster from 1997 to 2002. In 2016, they attended ESMT Berlin for a course on Supervisory & Advisory Board Membership. Additionally, in 2002, they briefly studied Business Administration and Management, General at the University of Melbourne.
