Simon Finlay

Simon Finlay has extensive experience in the electrical drives and controls industry, currently serving as the Solutions and Electrical Development Director at Selwood Ltd since November 2017. Prior to this role, Simon was the Managing Director at Ralspeed (Southern) Ltd, overseeing the establishment of a new subsidiary focused on supplying products and services to Southern England. With a foundational career at Ralspeed Ltd spanning nearly two decades, Simon progressed from Technical Sales Engineer to Technical Director, managing projects, customer specifications, and leading technical and service teams. Simon holds an Engineer’s Degree in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from Blackburn College, complementing a comprehensive background in the manufacturing and support of motor control technologies.
