Chetan Munegowda

Chetan Munegowda has worked in the software engineering field since 2010. Chetan started their career as a Senior Systems Engineer at Infosys, where they developed a Corporate Loan Origination banking product. Chetan then moved on to Uptake, where they developed modules for an Asset Performance Management application. After that, they worked as an Angular JS Intern at IndyBuild, developing a platform to help independent artists build and grow their own community. In 2016, they worked as a Graduate Student Teaching Assistant for a Data Analytics Course at the Illinois Institute of Technology. Since 2017, they have been working as a Software Engineer at SemanticBits, developing critical features for CMS Web Interface under the Quality Payment Program. Currently, they are a Senior Software Engineer at ICF.

Chetan Munegowda obtained a Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science from Bangalore Institute of Technology between 2006 and 2010. Chetan then obtained a Master's Degree in Information Technology and Management from the Illinois Institute of Technology between 2014 and 2016. In 2013, they obtained a 1Z0-851 Java Standard Edition 6 Programmer Certified Professional from Oracle. In 2017, they obtained certifications in Foundations of Programming: Test-Driven Development and Managing Threads in Java from LinkedIn. In 2021, they obtained a SQL (Intermediate) certification from HackerRank. In 2022, they obtained certifications from LinkedIn in Apache PySpark by Example, Solving Business Problems, The Six Biases of Decision-Making, Speaking Confidently and Effectively, Building Resilience, Critical Thinking, Decision-Making Strategies, Embracing Unexpected Change, and Mastering Common Interview Questions. Chetan also obtained a certification in shaping-up-with-angular-js from Code School.
