David Laughman

David Laughman has been working in the IT industry since 2010. David began their career at KLAS Enterprises as an IT Help Desk and Project Manager. In this role, they were responsible for handling all support tickets for the company, prioritizing and scheduling development tickets, and handling questions. David was also responsible for leading the development team in all IT related projects, using Agile and Waterfall methodology. In 2016, they moved to Jack Russell Software, a division of Tabula Rasa HealthCare, as a Scrum Master. In this role, they ran scrum ceremonies, wrote requirements, and generally helped their teams to be successful. In 2019, they joined SemanticBits as a Scrum Master. In this role, they were responsible for coordination with multiple other teams across the program for cross-functional features, and represented the teams in a mature SAFe model to assist with planning, prioritizing, and implementing features. David focused on servant leadership, improving process, people management, and improving cross-functionality of their teams.

David Laughman attended Brigham Young University from 2005 to 2010, where they obtained a Bachelor's degree in English and Business. In June 2016, they obtained a PSM I certification from Scrum.org.
