Joseph Kotanchik began their career in 2009 as a Software Engineer and Consultant - SOA Architect at CSC. In 2015, they joined CSRA Inc as a Software Engineer where they were the lead developer for the core orchestration service, data interaction services, and business layer services for the CMS ARRA HITECH Application. In 2016, Joseph moved to Raytheon as a Software Engineer II - Test Engineer, where they supported the verification and enhancement of end-to-end and feature regression tests. Joseph also worked as a Software Engineer II - Data Ingest and Software Engineer II - Automated Test Engineer. In 2019, Joseph joined SemanticBits as a Senior Software Engineer, where they modernized legacy eCQM authoring and testing tools from separate GWT and Ruby on Rails web applications to a unified React application supported by a Java Spring backend and NoSQL datastore. Joseph also extended the legacy tools to support relevant aspects of the FHIR model (QMIG).
