Matthew McPhillips

Matthew McPhillips is a Senior Software Engineer at SemanticBits (now part of ICF) since May 2021, specializing in designing and maintaining a reusable React component library and architecting complex solutions for state management within single-spa ecosystems. Previous roles include Software Engineer at Valley IT Solutions, where Matthew implemented micro-service architectures and AGILE methodologies, and contributions to various personal and collaborative projects involving technologies such as React and MaterialUI. Prior experience also encompasses mentoring at Galvanize Inc., backend engineering for Moodu's movie streaming service, and full-stack development for multiple applications, with a foundational background in web development and R&D in nanotechnology. Matthew holds a Bachelor's Degree in Environmental Biology from California State Polytechnic University-Pomona and completed a coding bootcamp at Hack Reactor in 2019.
