Kerem Cömert

Kerem Cömert is a Machine Learning Engineer at SemanticEdge since August 2023, focusing on the development of Conversational AI technologies and various AI models, including Large Language Models. Prior experience includes participation in the Semulin Project as a Working Student in Machine Learning at Elektrobit, where Kerem contributed to Gesture Recognition using Graph Neural Networks. As the Founder of OrderHocam, Kerem established a leading ordering application for restaurants and markets on the METU Northern Cyprus Campus. Additional roles include Android Developer at Appcent, developing the Skechers TR Android app, and Software Developer at Kuzey Kıbrıs Turkcell, where Kerem created an auto testing tool for the CepHesabim app. Interning at TEKHNELOGOS provided foundational experience in Android development. Kerem holds a Master’s degree in Artificial Intelligence & Extended Reality from The Julius Maximilians University of Würzburg and an undergraduate degree in Computer Engineering from Middle East Technical University Northern Cyprus Campus.
