Ricardo Pires

Ricardo Pires is an accomplished executive with extensive experience in leadership roles within various organizations. Currently serving as the Chief Executive Officer and Executive Board Member - Chief Investment Officer at Semapa, Ricardo also holds various positions including Chairman at Secil and The Navigator Company, and CEO at Semapa Next. In addition, Ricardo contributes to academia as an M&A Professor at Universidade Católica Portuguesa. Prior to these roles, experience includes serving as Assistant Vice President at Espírito Santo Investment Bank and consultancy positions at GTE and BDO Portugal. Ricardo's educational background includes advanced studies at Harvard Business School, Universidade Nova de Lisboa, and Universidade Católica Portuguesa, among others, highlighting expertise in private equity, corporate governance, and management.
