Previously, Varun held the position of Deputy General Manager for Business Development and Commercials, specializing in carbon credits origination and international business development. Varun’s experience includes managing significant investment portfolios in financial markets, notably as a Portfolio Manager for DLF Limited, where Varun facilitated investments in sustainable startups. Varun's earlier roles encompass equity portfolio management at DS Group, trading operations at Edelweiss Financial Services, and carbon market trading at Vattenfall, alongside experience in fixed income trading at UniCredit and risk management at Barclays and JPMorgan Chase. Varun holds a B.Tech in Civil and Environmental Science from the Indian Institute of Technology, Bombay, and a Masters in Management from ESCP Business School, with a finance specialization.
