Catherine Storey

Catherine (Kate) Storey is a co-founding partner of the SEMCAP Food & Nutrition Fund, a growth equity firm that invests in innovative natural food brands and technologies promoting sustainable health. Kate has held various board positions, including director roles at Hodo, Farmhouse Culture, and The Better Bean Company, as well as serving as a board observer at Ian's Natural Foods and Sweet Earth Foods. As a partner at Renewal Funds, Kate contributed to early-stage venture capital investments in North America. With prior experience as an investment banker at CIBC Capital Markets, Kate holds a B.Sc. in Biology from Mount Allison University, an MBA in Finance from Dalhousie University, and certificates in Carbon Finance from the University of Toronto.
