Alessandra Amarante has extensive experience in the engineering and process analysis fields, beginning with an internship at BASF in 1996, where Alessandra became the first woman to work in maintenance. Subsequent roles include positions as an engineering intern at Maxion Structural Components and a trainee at Cummins Inc., responsible for the homologation and certification of diesel engines. From May 2005 to February 2019, Alessandra served as a product engineer at MAN Latin America, focusing on powertrain and special vehicle engineering. Recently, Alessandra has held positions as a product analyst at Racing Group and Semcon. Education includes a degree in Mechanical Engineering and a post-graduate specialization in Hybrid and Electric Vehicle Engineering from UNESP and Senai Fiep, respectively.
