Molly Sandbacka

Molly Sandbacka is a Design Engineer at Semcon since June 2021, focusing on wire harness design for Volvo Bussar and satellite projects. Previously, Molly worked as a Wire Harness Designer at IMB Design AB, providing engineering consultancy for Lear Corporation on projects for Volvo Cars and CEVT from October 2017 to June 2021. An internship at Combitech Sverige involved the development of a component for a pressure gauge used in firefighting equipment, utilizing CAD modeling and prototyping techniques. Earlier experience includes summer roles in landscaping and care assistance, and a brief internship at ROL Retail. Molly holds a Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering with a specialization in Product Development and Design from Jönköping University, complemented by foundational studies in natural sciences and electrical engineering.
