Tommy Ekman

Tommy Ekman has 40 years of experience in mechanical engineering, currently serving as Design Lead and Technical Program Manager at Semcon since March 2017, where responsibilities include design oversight and safety management for a hydrogen electrolyser project. Prior to this, Tommy worked at Kongsberg Automotive from April 2004 to March 2017 as a Senior Designer, leading the development of safe head restraints while also excelling as an FMEA expert and educator. Tommy’s earlier career, spanning from August 1984 to April 2004, included roles as a Designer at Knight Industrikonsult, Caran, and Reijlers, focusing on mechanical design for various products such as paper machinery, chain saws, refrigerators, freezers, and train interiors. Tommy completed four years of studies in mechanical design.
