Peter MacHac

Peter Machac is an experienced procurement professional currently serving as the Head of Project Purchasing at Semecs, part of the SERO EMS Group, since September 2023. Previously, Peter held the position of Procurement Director at Secop from October 2012 to February 2023, where responsibilities included managing local and global commodity purchasing teams for tailored steel and plastic parts. Peter's earlier roles included Purchasing Commodity Manager at Secop, where a strategic focus was placed on direct materials, and Senior Buyer at Bekaert, responsible for wire rod procurement. Additional experience encompasses a role as Spare Parts Buyer at Emerson and an internship as a Purchasing Agent at Sandy’s Office Supply. Peter holds a Master's degree in Economics and Management from Slovak University of Agriculture and a Bachelor's degree in Business Administration from City University of Seattle.
