Michael Hurst

Michael Hurst has extensive experience in sales and business development, primarily in the agricultural industry. Michael worked as the Director of USA Sales and Business Development at Semex from March 2018 until present, and prior to that, they were the Sr. Sales Manager-USA at Semex starting from September 2016. Before joining Semex, Hurst served as the Director of Sales at River Valley Farm from November 2014 until September 2016. Michael also held the position of US Regional Sales Manager- Eastern Region at Semex Alliance from October 2009 to November 2014. Prior to their roles in the agricultural industry, Hurst worked as a Financial Service Officer at Farm Credit Services of Mid-America from September 2004 to October 2009. Michael began their career in 1994 as the Director of Appraisal/Field Staff Coordinator at the American Jersey Cattle Association, where they stayed until 2001. Overall, Hurst has gained expertise in sales, business development, and financial services throughout their career.

Michael Hurst obtained a Master's degree from The Ohio State University in Dairy Cattle Population Genetics. Michael attended the university from 1988 to 1993.
