Clint Gibler

Clint Gibler has worked in various roles and companies throughout their career. Clint is the founder of tl;dr sec, where they aggregate and distills security tools and research to improve efficiency. Clint is also an angel investor at Resourcely. At r2c, Clint served as the Head of Security Research, leading a team in developing Semgrep, an open-source static analysis tool. Prior to this, they were a Technical Director at NCC Group, where they delivered complex security engagements, conducted research, and provided technical input for new service offerings. Clint also has experience as a Security Consultant and Research Director at NCC Group. Clint previously worked as a Software Security Engineer at NCC Group Domain Services and as a Graduate Student Researcher at UC Davis, where they conducted mobile security and privacy research. Clint has interned at Lookout, Fortify Software, Cigital, Inc, and Northrop Grumman Corporation, gaining experience in various security-related roles.

Clint Gibler completed their Bachelor of Science (B.S.) degree in Computer Science from Case Western Reserve University from 2005 to 2009. Subsequently, they pursued their Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) degree in Computer Science from the University of California, Davis, which they completed from 2009 to 2014.
