Bettina Weiss

Bettina Weiss has over 25 years of work experience in the semiconductor industry. Bettina currently serves as the Chief of Staff & Corporate Strategy at SEMI, a global industry association. Additionally, they hold the position of Vice President, Product Management & Business Development. In their previous roles at SEMI, Bettina was the Vice President of Business Development, where they focused on evaluating new/emerging markets and technologies for SEMI members. Bettina also served as the VP of the Photovoltaic Business Unit, overseeing all PV initiatives in major markets. Prior to joining SEMI, Bettina worked at Metron Technology as an Assistant to the General Manager. Overall, they have demonstrated expertise in various areas of the industry, including international standards, product management, and business development.

Bettina Weiss attended the College for Applied Languages in Munich from 1986 to 1989, where they obtained a Bachelor of Arts degree in English. Bettina'sfield of study focused on translation for international law and economics. In addition to their formal education, they have obtained certifications in various areas related to diversity, inclusion, belonging, and leadership. Bettina completed the "Confronting Bias: Thriving Across Our Differences" certification from LinkedIn in September 2022. Bettina also completed certifications in "Diversity, Inclusion, and Belonging" and "Leadership Foundations" from LinkedIn in September 2022.
