Frank Shemansky

CTO MEMS & Sensors at SEMI

Frank Shemansky has extensive work experience in various companies and roles related to MEMS and sensor technology development. Frank is currently working at SEMI as the CTO of MEMS & Sensors since 2017. Prior to this, they were the Sr. Director of Product Management at QuickLogic from 2014 to 2016. Frank also served as the VP of Business Development at Sensor Platforms from 2012 to 2014 before it was acquired by Audience, Inc. In 2009, Frank worked as the VP of Engineering at Lumedyne Technologies, which was later acquired by Google. Frank also held the position of Director of MEMS Technology Development at Akustica, which was acquired by Bosch, from 2004 to 2008. Before that, they worked at Orchid Cellmark from 1999 to 2001 and Motorola from 1990 to 1999 in various managerial roles related to sensor technology and product development.

Frank Shemansky completed their Bachelor of Science (B.S.) degree in Engineering from Penn State University, attending from 1979 to 1983. Frank then pursued further education at Arizona State University, where they obtained a Master of Science (M.S.) degree in Engineering, studying from 1986 to 1988. Continuing their academic journey, Frank completed their Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) in Engineering from Arizona State University, attending from 1988 to 1991.
